Dan Purjes and Scott Stoll, M.D.
Dan Purjes is a successful entrepreneur and businessman, having built several companies to significant levels before selling them. These enterprises were in a variety of industries such as finance, technology, software, home automation, and solar energy.

Dan co-founded with Dr. Scott Stoll the International Journal of Disease Reversal & Prevention, a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research and other science-based articles on plant–based diets and disease reversal. He and Scott Stoll also co-founded the Disease Reversal & Prevention Digest, a periodical that presents in layman’s language the science contained in the Journal.

Dan and his wife, Ed, have funded several plant-based scientific studies at major university hospitals. The funds for these studies came from their charitable trust, the Purjes Foundation, which is solely funded by Dan and Ed. Dan is on the Board of several non-profit organizations focused on plant-based health, including the Plantrician Project and the Ethos Farm Project. Dan arranged the merger of PlantBasedDocs.com, a division of the Plantrician Project, and PlantBasedDoctors.com; both competing companies provided directories of plant-based physicians and healthcare professionals. Their merger provided a more efficient directory.
