Conditions: Rheumatoid Arthritis

David Bridges and his mother, Glenda, want to share their story of his amazing disease reversal as a beacon of hope to all those who are unwell. David says, “Never give up!” He was sick for so many years with lupus and other diseases, that he never thought there would be a solution.

At the height of his diseases, David was intubated in a hospital in Los Angeles. Doctors there were recommending amputation of several fingertips because they could not control his infections. Glenda refused to give permission for the amputations, and fortunately she met Dr. Brooke Goldner, who had reversed lupus and other diseases in her own body. Dr. Goldner, whose story is elsewhere in this book, guided David to a whole food, plant-based lifestyle. That reversed all his diseases in a few months and eliminated the need to amputate his fingers. David was able to live a normal life and resume his passion as an artist.

David was one of the first people who reversed autoimmune disease that Dan Purjes, the co-author of this book, had met. That meeting became the seed for the creation of this book. Dan bought one of David’s artworks as a memento of that important moment. David has now had gallery shows for his artwork in Los Angeles.
